The one page plan is a simple yet effective tool to develop an implementation plan. Using the ‘Now, Where, How’ structure the one page plan shows where the organisation, person, or issue is ‘now’, ‘where’ it plans to be at some time in the future, and ‘how’ it will get there.
Leading up to this point, you have covered a number of tools to assist in the 'now’, ‘where’ and ‘how’ elements. The one page plan tool isn't about developing any new ideas, it's used to culminate of all the great work you have done into an actionable and easy to use document for your issues, opportunities or yourself.
The top left corner of the plan is the ‘now’ analysis. The top right is the ‘where’ analysis and the bottom half of the plan is the 'how' analysis. The bottom left of the plan has space for your 'strategies', the centre has space for your action plans and ‘timing - who and when' are listed on the bottom right.

It takes only minutes to do.It can be updated in only minutes.It's a control document for your business improvement process.It's simple and easily understood by all. In the worksheet tab of this module, you’ll be able to create your own one page plan using the content you have already created in the previous tools.
Step 1: Now analysis - enter in the information from your mindmap in module two.Step 2: Where analysis - list out a summary of your vision from module three.Step 3: Strategies –list the top three issues that came out of your Pareto analysis in module two.Step 4. Action plans - enter in the key actions that came out of your force field for one of your strategies. For the other two strategies, if you don’t have time to do a force field for each, just brainstorm or mindmap some key actions you could take. It is essential that you date the plan and to update it on at least a bimonthly basis. It’s usually only the action plans that need changing in the short term.
