The visioning process is a tool that helps you to visualise your current and future situation. It requires you to draw a simple picture of where you see yourself 'now’ and ‘where’ you want to be in the future. If you can draw it, you can see it. If you can see it, you can have it. A compelling vision can help you succeed and be more satisfied with your life. If you don't identify your vision, others will plan and direct your life for you.
You may say you can't do it, but many of us started personal visioning at an early age without even knowing it. Remember when people asked you what you wanted to be when you grew up? Was it a doctor, firemen, nurse or truck driver? Although the innocence that gave rise to such desires has since passed, there is still time to imagine the ‘what if’ and the ‘could I?’. Don't just stick to safe 'sure bets', dare to dream! Too many people say, ‘If only…’
For most people tomorrow's vision is the same as today, only slightly better. The world is changing so rapidly that more of the same would be wrong.
